Online information meeting: Labour exploitation in times of corona

wereldbol op vliegveld

Do you work with undocumented migrants and do you see that they are experiencing serious labour rights violations? Are they not getting paid, are they being pressured, kept indoors or have they been put out on the street by their employer?

In October, FairWork organizes two online information meetings about labour exploitation in times of corona. These meetings are intended for volunteers from migrant- and support organizations in Amsterdam or The Hague / Den Haag who (also) work with the target group of undocumented migrants and who have not previously followed a FairWork training. The meetings are free of charge.

Topics covered are:

  • What is labour exploitation and human trafficking?
  • Which signals can you pick up as a volunteer?
  • What are our experiences with labour exploitation during the corona crisis?
  • What can FairWork do for volunteers and victims?

When and how:

For volunteers from organizations in Amsterdam: Thursday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. via MS Teams.
For volunteers from organizations in The Hague/Den Haag: Tuesday 6 October from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. via MS Teams.

Register

You can register until October 3rd via info@fairwork.nu. Please indicate whether you speak Dutch and/or English, then we adjust the language to the preferences of the participants. Participants who register will be sent a link.
